about

Being alienated from friends and family.

lyrics

The moisture left from a dirty mug from a friendship I once brewed,
Like my past still very memorable, but there’s nothing left to show.
I burned down our little happiness, and was glad to see it burn.
And picked out bones of the teenage years and threw them back at you.

Whilst you’re in the fields waiting for the storm to come back home,
I’m in the stable with the herbals and I’m all on my own.
So maybe i should live and die alone,
I’d rather die in my comfort zone.

Exiles only a word, till you wear it like a crown,
And I’ve been thinking recently and I guess I’m wearing it now.
So storm clouds run over darkened skies, like hoards of angry mobs.
And everybody’s inside to stay away from harm.

Whilst you’re in the fields waiting for the storm to come back home,
I’m in the stable with the herbals and I’m all on my own.
So maybe i should live and die alone,
I’d rather die in my comfort zone.
